A Chronicle of Doom....

Long overdue visit to Ice Station yesterday to see Agent Johnny. Turns out Our Man in Pester Whailes was on great form, more than happy to show off his recently completed 6 pages of Evil Hollywood (which made the trip back to Glasgore fer 'digital transference' for print) as well as 4 new pages of tightly scripted action fer Agents Miller and Smith 'fer to draw', naturally saving the 'grande finale' 4 pages for himself. Hopes are high that this 48 page extravaganza may indeed appear in the Autumn (not, er, of 2009 as originally advertised).... Other than that it was business as usual, rekkids, swill and contented chuntering. Our man's currently reading the Before Watchmen trades and has just started on some Ed McBain. We also discussed Philip K. Dick's 'Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?' as part of wir usual extensive sci-fi fartings....

Sounds: Taxi Driver, Original Motion Picture Soundtrack by Bernard Herrmann: Anthem of the Sun by Grateful Dead: Just like Eddy by Heinz: Strictly Personal by Captain Beefheart and his Magic Band (only a handful of songs had elapsed before the needle 'skited' across the vinyl): Close by Kim Wilde and Diamond Hard Blue Apples of the Moon by The Nice (the grande finale!)....

Bernard Herrmann - Taxi Driver OST, Main Title
