A Chronicle of Doom....

Another reconnaissance mission to Ice Station Zebra successfully completed yesterday. Glad to report from the Eastern front that Agent Johnny was in good spirits. Aside from a brief procession, necessitating something of a 'split swill', it was an afternoon of contented chuntering. Our Man in Pester Whailes was only too keen to show off his recently inked pages (3 & 4) of 'the grande finale' as well as his assorted works in progress. To this Agent's dismay work has now diverted somewhat to a page of Agent of S.M.E.R.S.H., but enough 'encouraging noises' were made in the hope of convincing 'Joke' Miller to prioritise all things Evil Hollywood for the time being. As the last 7" faded into the background once again our Agents took to Dreadenburgh city centre to visit Deadhead Comics, allowing our Agent to squeeze in a viewing of Quatermass II as well as a further brief, but more than satisfactory, swill with Agent Austin....

A Chronicle of Doom....

Pleasant jaunt to Ice Station Zebra on Thorsday to see Agent Johnny, who proved himself a man wholly capable of tackling the huge, supposed insurmountable task at hand - it took Our Man In Pester Whailes months to fill up his kitchen but a mere 7 days to reverse the effect, making a 'lasting first impression' on ye gods. Somehow amidst all this week's hard labour - our man was truly nakt! - there was still time for Casino Royale, OHMSS, copious letter writing and inking. Page 4 of Evil Hollywood's 'grande finale' is very nearly completed, a large box of 'academic' lettering being all that remains, the conclusion finally taking shape. Swill was drunk, rekkids were played - a Mexican stand-off of sorts played out to the suitably tense sounds of The Good The Bad and The Ugly's 'The Trio (main title)' theme - and then more rekkids were revolved and swill downed in celebration of the victory. Agent Rob even came across a copy of Inkling, containing a strip, Blotto Woman that he rather fancies has been accidentally omitted from the 'collected works'. Add to this a visit to Deadhead Comics for a quick nosh up with Agent Austin, making for what has to be one of the more refreshing awaydays of late.... What a 'sunshine superman'!
